I made roti jala.

I mean, it's awesome that i've resorted to innovative yet rudimentary techniques to achieve my objectives. The roti jala itself is pretty decent i guess, not as great as my mom's but hey! it looks like a jala. and that's all that counts. I would have liked to make curry according to step-by-step instructions nani gave me to accompany it, but i don't have chicken nor curry powder. oh well. i'll make do with instant korma. Does korma go with roti jala? Mari kita cuba.

oh!try checking out the trailer for The House Bunny, Anna Faris' new movie. It looks like the perfect fluffy movie(think Legally Blonde). The thing she does when she tries to remember peoples' names is freaking hilarious. I watched the full clip of that scene on the movie website, had me in stitches.

roti jala!!!
the last time i ate that was last year. we have this night market at uni and the petrovic club was in charge wiht one stall. i helped out a bit and one of the menus were roti jala. but that time they use the real mechanism of making roti jala.
but can with poked holes? CLASSIC! huhu. even i wouldn't have thought that. or even i did, i wouldn't go through that hassle. i'd better off without roti jala.

finally got around to listening to the original version, and i like it too!80s music, yeah baby. i guess i like Jules' version because it has a sort of quiet eeriness that seems to suit the lyrics very well. but hey, both versions rock in their own way.
i read pretty good reviews for the movie on a couple blogs, woot! i'm just waiting until it's out here :D
